So it seems McCormick is famous for their "hole in the wall" restaurant's. This one is a little harder to find than the others.. but what a reward that awaits you when you do find it.... It's just down to earth good food. It's made to order so be prepared to sit a spell. The workers are great company!!! The catfish is awesome. And so is the fried pork chops..... well let's put it this way... order whatever you want off that menu.. you are sure to be pleased with your order. It's ALLLLLLLLLLL good!!
I have to share my love for Amazing Chicken! I'm from Charleston, where we have some great restaurants, but whenever I’m in McCormick, I can’t resist stopping by the Drive Inn for their two-piece Chicken Breast plate—it's a real treat! And don’t miss out on their hotdogs with slaw; they’re a must-try! This local gem really shows off Southern hospitality, and I promise, you won’t be disappointed with the delicious food! Enjoy!
Small but cozy. The food was outstanding. I had slaw and chicken, wow the chicken was the best ever. Thanks again we will be back.
Great fried chicken! Sweet tea was exceptional. Extremely pleasant atmosphere but small sitting area. Large group(over 6) would need to call ahead.
I'm giving the food a five. The chicken was really good and we tried the corn nuggets since we heard they were good and we're not disappointed. The okra was great. The restaurant is small and I think a lot of the business is carry out. They got a lot of phone calls and were quite busy in the kitchen. Good fried chicken takes 30 minutes so it's not a place to go in a hurry. If we're in the area again we would probably call in a to go order and get extras for leftovers.
Not many places in the area like this one. Service was top notch and on time. Food was very hot and delicious. I will keep you updated on this place one of my new chicken restaurants.
One of my favorite restaurants!!! Can't beat the food or the prices. Love their pork chops and their steak sandwiches. Can't beat the corn nuggets either!!
I had such a great meal here! I had the Philly sandwich with onion rings, and corn nuggets and everything tasted so good. I was also able to have a bite of their chicken and it was so crispy and delicious. The server was so sweet and attentive. I'm definitely going back to try another one of their plates.
